Cypress Hill MUD 1 started the website process to educate the residents prior to a bond election. The district failed to pass a bond election in May, due in some part to negative comments on social media. Through the use of communication via the website, email and text messaging, social media marketing and town halls, the district was able to answer resident questions and inform them of district needs. The following November the bond election passed.

The District also utilizes the website to highlight all of the amenities, within their 6 subdivisions. On the Subdivisions page the District highlights important HOA contact info, subdivision boundaries, and park and rec facilities available for resident use.
